What Happens At A Routine Veterinary Appointment?
During a routine veterinary appointment at Aspire Veterinary Center, a veterinary technician will take your pet’s vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, and respiration rate, as well as obtain a medical history of your pet. Dr. Lam will then perform a thorough physical examination that includes examining your pet’s eyes, ears, nose, and oral cavity, listening to their heart and lungs, and assessing their lymph nodes, skeletal structures, and skin for any signs of disease. After the physical examination is complete, Dr. Lam will develop and discuss with you a personalized treatment plan for your pet to address any health concerns that they may have.
What Types Of Same-Day Veterinary Appointments Are Available At Aspire Veterinary Center?
We provide same-day veterinary appointments for all of our services, including but not limited to:
Vaccinations: Apart from preventing many serious or life-threatening diseases, vaccinations also help to prevent diseases from being passed between animals or from animals to humans. What’s more, vaccinations are relatively inexpensive, especially compared to the cost of treating diseases that your pet may contract if unvaccinated. If your pet needs to be vaccinated, do not hesitate to call us for a same-day appointment. We will ensure that your pet is up to date on its vaccinations.
Urgent And Emergency Care: When your pet falls ill or becomes injured, you need to seek medical attention as soon as possible, mainly because the symptoms and conditions that require urgent care often overlap with those that require emergency visits. Urgent care is generally for issues that need immediate medical attention but are not necessarily life-threatening, such as wound treatment, dehydration, constipation, pain or limping, and cuts and abrasions. On the other hand, your pet may need emergency care if it is experiencing a life-threatening crisis such as cardiac arrest, collapse or loss of consciousness, excessive bleeding, fractures, choking, seizures, or severe allergic reactions.
